     Hello stranger! I pray that since you have found this blog that you are blessed by the Father and hope that the content you find here will help you along your journey. Whether you are a life long Christian or a seeker of the faith, you'll find something for everyone here.


About Me:

My name is Caleb. I recently found a renewed interest in the faith. I have begun doing a solo bible study and now I will be starting this blog to help me put my thoughts in the public space rather than keeping them to myself. I consider myself to be a very ordinary Christian. 

I was raised and confirmed in a Lutheran church. Attendance was a real issue for me when I was a kid. It felt like an obligation to show my face for the people rather than to actually worship Christ. I typically only attended during major holidays such as Christmas and Easter. 

 Growing up, my faith always felt like a pendulum. Swaying to God and swaying away from God. What is interesting about it though is that I knew for a certain that God was real and Jesus was our messiah. Even when I wanted to explore 'spirituality', I knew where home was. 

Now that I have gotten older, I realize that this life is precious and it could all be over tomorrow so I need to get right with God before it is too late. Thankfully, with the Holy Spirit by my side, I have begun this journey again and have begun to put Jesus at the center of my life.

 

What to Expect:

As I stated before, the goal of this blog is to document my journey in the faith whether it be for just myself or others who may stumble upon it. You will see my thoughts on my bible studies, current news, and many other interesting topics! I hope whoever sees this blog is blessed and finds their way to the narrow gate of heaven through Jesus Christ our Messiah. Amen!
